So the fucking AFA is trying to sponsor a boycott of Hallmark for announcing that they're going to carry a small selection of same-sex marriage cards in some Hallmark stores. I'm not providing any links because I don't want to give these idiots any added visit numbers. But, of course, their fucking sheeeeeeeple nutcase members are now calling our store (my mom happens to be working today and called me to figure out what the hell was going on, since she didn't know anything about it), complaining that they won't shop at Hallmark anymore because they're carrying gay cards. a) We're not corporate, so there's no point in complaining to us. In fact, if anyone does it to me tonight, I plan on hanging up on them. Actually, I could have some fun with this, so maybe I do want them to call. I think 'thank you, ma'am. Your bigoted, small-minded feedback has been noted. *click*' is an appropriate reply, don't you think? ;) b) Our store is so small that we won't get them anyways. c) Does this mean the cranky, whiny, bigoted people won't be coming in anymore? Then THANK YOU AFA! You've made my job much easier.

Anyhow, if you want to support Hallmark in this, you should be able to send comments through the Site Feedback on Hallmark.com (except that they seem to have taken it down so the AFA can't get through be doing maintenance) or through the Contact Us page.

Seriously, moving to the UK is more and more appealing every day.

AHEM. Onto other things...

My iTunes seemed to have malfunctioned last night (I know, not surprising) and now all my artists starting with numbers are sorting at the top of the alphabet again, instead of being at the bottom. YAY! Except now all my artists beginning with 'The' are stuck in the Ts. Ugh. Maybe I should actually download that update iTunes keeps popping up and I always ignore.

Actually, if you go to their website, they have this form letter you can send in to Corporate. I totally filled it out and changed it to be all PRO HALLMARK AND GAY SHIT.

got the idea from Slog at the Stranger (Dan Savage maybe). Link DIRECTLY to the page, and tell people to do just that and you have no guilt. It fucks them up.
