So yes. Watching Doctor Who at 3am was indeed the correct decision. *FLAIL FLAIL FLAIL* So much going on in the episode! SO MUCH GOING ON IN THE TRAILER FOR NEXT WEEK!! I cannot put it all together in coherent sentences.

Is it next Saturday yet?? DAMN. I have to work all day next Saturday and then I'm driving up to the cabin. I won't be able to watch it until late. :sad face:

You've seen everything up to this point, yah? 'Kuz I'm about to have a bit of a rant:



Ooo, no, I'm too chicken of spoilers to see the other preview (I read there's big ones in there). Heck, I'm still reeling from Forest of the Dead, for cryin' out loud! (Holy buckets. I saw that ep when I was IN BRITIAN and it was waaaay fun. But wow. She knows his....name? Guh? What do you think of that? What would be the "only time" he'd tell someone his name? I don't think it was even official that he HAD a name before that ep...! And then the finger snap opening the TARDIS! Holy dang buckets!)

And what did you think of Midnight? Was that amazing or what? Very, very, very sad, though.

Oh man. It's so intense this season! These last coupla eps are gonna be pretty dang huge. [pant pant] So exciting.

Have you heard for sure how long those specials next year are gonna be? I heard there's gonna be four...? AW MAN I wish it was a whole season.
--sigh-- It's gonna be a loooong wait in between eps next year....

BTW, I did get to Cardiff. :)

I liked River Song a lot. It's sad that they'll probably never tell her story.

Midnight was SUPER CREEPY. I loved it!

The season certainly is intense. And the end isn't going to get any better.

I don't know what they've said about how long the Who movies are going to be. I would guess longer than a normal episode.

And so we rant:

Yeah, wasn't River cool? She was a total badass, and quite disarming to the Doctor. That's so refreshing. (Well, quite literally disarming, as she can throw a heckuva right hook. And by the way, maybe I just notice these things because I'm a martial artist, but he sure gets his lights put out with one punch a lot. Heh.) So do you think she recognizes his face as Ten, meaning he is destined to meet her as Ten? Because otherwise, why would she be asking if they've done certain stuff yet? And the fact that she's saying he looks so young implies that if she HAS met him as Ten, then Ten has a long way to go. So huh? I don't know how long Ten will be around, but I very much doubt it'll be a bunch of years (snif).

And whoa Midnight. That was such a fascinating look at the best and worst all at once of human nature. And even a bit of the Doctor's worst, getting a little arrogant as he did (Davies had some really interesting things to say about the script in the Confidential; did you happen to see that? I usually don't see all of them but I wanted to hear what he had to say for this one). And I'd just been travelling by plane days before I saw it...eeeeuu, yowza.

Turn Left: Rose is sure hard core now, isn't she? I noticed lots of Doctoresque qualities in her. I'm reeeeeeeealy looking forward to seeing how this plays out. And holy buckets the whole Torchwood team and Sarah Jane and all that?! EEEEEEEE!

So yeah, my brother and I are afraid the remaining eps are going to kick our butts. Because Davies is so evil. :)

Yes, Cardiff! I'll try to get some pictures up when I get them (my friend has all the pics on her camera). It was very different from the shows, as there was a lot of construction and a big ol' open air market right there in the square, but it was still totally Cardiff Bay. Wow. Yay. I think I was standing right where the Rift is...I couldn't stop grinning even though I was with a rather cross non-Who friend.

They have permanent road signs pointing the way of the Doctor Who exhibition there. :) I also must report that I touched Nine's jacket. The rules be danged. It was right there. Like I'm not going to reach up and touch it. (It is *ridiculously* thick.)

Well! Anyway. Back to studying. So glad I can share ranting with you; thanks. Yay!
