I feel like should write something intelligent, but my brain is disagreeing with me. So I'll do that meme that's going around instead.

You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

1. First Name: Leigh, short for Leslie (which only my family and my cow-workers call me)

2. Age: 31

3. Location: the suburbs of St. Paul, Minnesota

4. Occupation: I'm a Business Analyst at a company that administers medical benefits. Amongst other things I do there. I also work part-time at Hallmark because gas is expensive and my day job is 30 miles from home.

5. Kids: Yeeeeeah...no. Next question.

6. Brothers/Sisters: I'm the oldest. My sister Jenny is 27 and going to grad school for child psych. My brother DJ is 25 and currently teaching at an English-speaking school in the suburbs of Seoul, South Korea. He'll be home for an extended visit next week! My other brother Ben is 23 and just moved out of my parents house, again. Hopefully it'll work this time.

7. Pets: We had to put my Scottish Terrier, Riley, down last January. I miss him every single day. I'm kind of a surrogate mom to my Mom's dog, Earl.

8. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
1. THIS SUMMER. It's so busy! I have things going on every single weekend, except one in August. Concerts, musicals, parties, etc. It's been great so far and it's only going to get better!
2. MY BROTHER IS COMING HOME! For nearly a month. He arrives on Wednesday and I'm very excited about it!
3. FASTER PUSSYCAT IS GOING ON TOUR! I miss those boys so much! Even if I only get to one show, it will be one of the highlights of the summer, as it always is when they're on tour. I am desperately trying to figure out how I can get off work and get to a couple more shows.

9. Where and for what did you go to school for? I went to the U of M for 2 years in the Mechanical Engineering program. Then I got into actual engineering classes and realized I hated them. So I left school and I've done okay for myself without a degree.

10. Parents? My mom also works at the Hallmark store I work at. My dad has worked at what is now Thompson-Reuter for almost 30 years. They met on a blind date, got married 6 months later and have been married for 33 years.

11. Who are some of your closest friends? Oh man. I hardly know how to answer this one. I'm so lucky to have all my wonderful friends! After I left college and started dating The Loser, I didn't really have any friends and that was difficult to not have anyone to talk to. Or do things with. And then I started working at B&N and met some people who I know I'll be friends with for the rest of my life. Especially taylorea, who is one of the people who just understands me. And then I got a computer and started going online and met a whole collection of fantastic people. I would be lost without praguematic and rockerlee and sammipunk. And most certainly seimaisin, who is my partner concert-going crime, along with other crazy adventures. I can't name all of my friends here, but you're all important to me and I am very lucky to have you all in my life. ♥
