Okay. I admit it. I'm weak. I cannot stay away from the spoilers for the last episode of Torchwood. There's a whole bunch of stuff posted here in torch_wood from someone who either has seen the actual episode (which seems likely) or read the shooting script that the previous spoilers came from. This seems to backup the rumors that have been floating around, so take that for what you will.

The BIG NEWS? I've already heard it. Not sure how I feel about it yet. But this is Sci-Fi and nothing's ever final. Right? Right.

But they have GOT to be kidding!

THEY ARE MESSING WITH JACK's TIMELINE AGAIN.

So Jack gets zapped back 2000 years and buried alive immortal. He's finally unburied 1900 years later by Torchwood Cardiff and he asks to be put in the morgue so that he doesn't run into himself. He's obviously got some thawing timer put on him so that he can get unfrozen in the present day and help save the day. Er, sort of.

Did that just hurt your brain as much as it did mine? Oi. o_O

In other news, apparently the cruise I'm going on has turned into the MmmmBoat! as Hanson has been added to the lineup. I have no problems with Hanson. Their crazy weird fans? That's another story. It's just gotten a little more intersting, that's for sure.

My personal opinion is that Tosh is actually dead ded, but Owen is only Sci-Fi ded. The radiation will do something to reverse his decaying cells and he'll be alive again. Ta-DAH!

That actually makes sense, in Torchwood Science. I guess I'd be okay with it if they can fix Owen because as he is now, he is TOTES USELESS. And making even less sense than usual for Torchwood Science. Hrmph. So, that'd be less suck.

I'm choosing to not think about Jack's timeline, ever. EVAR.

True dat. They HAVE to do something with Owen. He's not much use to them with only one working hand. And the whole being ded thing. I just can't believe they'd kill off two of the characters for good.

It'll be interesting to see if Jack explains anything when he's on DW or if the writers decide to just gloss over the whole thing, as usual.

I couldn't remember what her schedule was now. Sad. =(

I read it too...and whoa all kinds of strange. I dont' believe Owen will be completely dead...I'm sad about Tosh though because I really like her...and I definitely don't try to figure out the Jack timeline because even in my brief viewing...it's too damn confusing.

Yep. I know someone said it in an interview I read. In the TW magazine? Maybe it was there. I can't remember. But Ianto was certainly done for. I'm sure RTD wanting to keep his big gay team changed the whole idea.

I am so very glad that they did not go that route. Funnily enough, I had heard a rumor that John, Gareth, and Eve were all leaving and that Burn and Naoko would be the only ones left. Apparently, someone was trying to mess with people's minds. Whatever the case, god, I am so glad Ianto was not killed off. Though it could have been angstpiring. That is perhaps the only upshoot. (Sometimes, angst is delicious. Like chicken.)

Well, the thing is that they have to do something with Owen. They can't just leave him all zombified and stuff. So if it was just Owen finally actually dying, I don't think I've have a problem with it. But Tosh? She just actually got an interesting story and some screen time. =/

The thing is though that Burn has said he's getting ready for season 3. Of course, Billie said she was getting ready for season 3 too. Who knows?

Given how TW spazzes back and forth in time, never really manages to kill anyone properly and how it's going to be rather hard to kill a dead man, I wouldn't be surprised if Burn was in S3 in some way or another :P

Tosh I have the horrible feeling we were going to lose anyway - they made it very clear even in Fragments that she was hitting the end of her forced tenure in Torchwood ('Give me five years'), so we would have been seeing her leave.

That's exactly what I think. Owen's going to be saved by deus ex machina and Tosh is going to be gone.

I mean, we're obviously getting some sort of parallel existence collision in DW so who knows how (or if) that's going to affect TW? Owen from another world comes through and joins the team? Crazier things have happened.

(although there are vague rumors about that whole thing already that would seem to indicate otherwise...)
