Ummm, what the hell was that?? Oh Torchwood. Sometimes you just MISS. But you know I love you anyways! Especially since next week has PC Andy! And episode 12 will be on next Friday and that episode is going to be EXCELLENT. I can't stop reading spoilers about it.

I don't drink coffee. Or tea. Or even hot chocolate. Nothing that's warm, actually. But I decided that I needed to have Ianto's sexy fingers mug. And now I do.

I had to stop watching it! 1) ghost stories actually kind of SCARE me, especially if they involve old film, and 2) YAWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNN WHAT, DO THEY COME OUT OF TEH RAIN OR SOMEFING??? IDK, I think maybe they come out of the rain. Zzzzz.

Today I spent a LOT of time looking for a TW pic of anybody with coffee mug(s)! That first one is perfect, where did you find it?

Hehee. I have a couple of those cups (granted with Chinese pictographs for "tea" on them). They rock (so if anyone asks, you wanted a stylish cup and they were cheap and NOTHING TO DO WITH TORCHWOOD EVAR)

That said, I have a couple of those cool untippable mugs they had on DS9 *whistles innocently*

With TW 10 (finally watched it :P) I think most of the faults were down to directing. It had the capacity to be TW's version of Blink, or at least something nicely creepy along the lines of Ghost Machine, but the directing was absolute poo. All the elements were there, they just weren't highlighted properly.

When I figured out it was written by the guy that did 'Small Worlds' it made a little more sense. There were good concepts and they just went absolutely NOWHERE. It was just really disappointing and kind of boring. And I don't want to think of my TW as boring.

I honestly thought they were going to do the "living mermaid" as being an alien and the rest of the travellers being either projections or her bitches - it would have made more sense, particularly of how they played up her splashing around every given second.

So much of this ep woulda been saved if it just had better atmospherics. Even a dodgy plot can be rescued by a bit of a revamped application....

(And I still hold that Small Worlds and Fear Her shoulda swapped shows. Fear Her needed the extra nastiness they weren't game to do in DW, and Small Worlds woulda slotted right into s2 DW)
