So, they built this fancy AMC movie theater out in Roseville and put the ticket windows outside. And everyone was all "huh??" because this is Minnesota and when it's 20 below outside and you want to go to the movie on a Saturday night because it's a nice inside activity, the last thing you want to do is wait in a long line outside the theater. That design works fine in California, but is not exactly ideal for here. And sure enough, construction has begun to enclose the entire area and should be complete by Thanksgiving. Morans.

Also, The Quest is becoming Epic Nightclub. What was the #1 biggest complaint about The Quest? Horrible fucking sightlines. They had all these giant pillers in the middle of the mainfloor, so you had to be right in front of the stage to be able to see. And now what are they doing? Putting a giant staircase at the back of the floor, so you won't possibly be able to see the stage from back there. Yeah, that'll get the people to go there instead of the gorgeous, big open area design at Myth. =/

Sheesh. So much rage this morning.

If it's "fancy" and "AMC" there should be ticket kiosks inside where you print off the tickets you ordered online (no fee if you get the FREE AMC moviewatcher card!!) or purchase them with plastic. SOOOO much easier than waiting in a long line and dealing with a snarky teenager.

The ticket kiosks are also outside and usually also have a long line.

Weird. I've never seen them outside before.

Heh, the reason I have not been to the "fancy new theater" yet was my MS makes waiting in a long line in the heat an impossibility. i knew they would have to change something.

Well, then. You should have a two-week window where the weather is decent enough that you could wait in line. =/

It was a horrible place. I didn't shed any tears when it was destroyed by a fire.

Oh yeah huh? I didn't think about the theatre design. I was just so happy to find a real theatre with real hot dogs. hehe. I didn't stand in line too long. There was only one person ahead of me for the ticket kiosk. But really, they should have put that inside. What ARE they thinking?
