I'm still rather in shock about the whole bridge collapsing thing. You can watch video of the actual collapse here. It's just so unreal. There's going to be a lot of blame passed around on this one. How long until the first lawsuit is filed?

I had a terrible dream last night, but all I really remember about it is that I was frantically looking for lafemmezilla. I probably will not feel okay until I can see her live and in the flesh.

Anyhow, thanks to everyone for their concern and messages. I might not be able to respond to everyone today as I'm kind of swamped with some issues at work. But I'll try my best.

duckduck and I were planning to go to the Two Cow Garage show tonight but have decided to skip it to stay out of downtown. Instead, I'll be packing for my vacation next week and hopefully I'll get to color my hair.

Yeah, I watched that video earlier. Insane.

As for lawsuits, there will be a million, I'm sure. And I'm also sure that the construction company that was working on the bridge already contacted their lawyers and have papers ready to file for bankruptcy as soon as they come in.

Actually, the lawyer for the construction company was already on the news last night as he was overseeing the interviews with the job foreman and stressing that it wasn't the company's fault.

I just saw the video of the bridge a bit ago on ABC News. I can't even imagine. I sat there with my mouth open. I'm just so glad to hear that everyone around you is OK.

OOOH, vacation! Lucky. And I will be doing the same tomorrow night...coloring my hair. I hate getting old and finding unnecessary gray hairs.
