It's an actual journal update!
Apr. 8th, 2004 01:11 pmI spent last weekend in beautiful St. Cloud, MN, watching my brother's college baseball team, the Augustana Vikings. He actually didn't play much, but it was still a fun time. Except for the weather. There was a constant, freezing wind on Saturday. Everyone was huddled together in the stands, but it didn't help. My mom & I gave up after a while, and went out to sit in the car. It was okay because DJ wasn't playing anyways. We met up with the team for dinner that night, which was nice. I don't get to see my bro very much and I miss him.

Me & DJ, although this pic is from last year at the Metrodome
Sunday's weather was much better and DJ played in the second game. He got two good hits and two RBIs, so it was a good day. I probably won't see him again until he gets back from school. sigh...
My Homicide: Life on the Street season four DVDs arrived on Friday. Yay!! I've already made my way through the first three discs. Damn, I really miss that show. I also got my Prince tickets yesterday. The mail lady is good to me! :)
Yes, it's true. I cannot stay away from the Subservient Chicken. I know that everyone has already posted this link, but I'm doing it anyways. My favorites: rock out, play air guitar, beg, do a cartwheel, do a little dance, and moonwalk.
I spent most of last night finishing the website for our Race for the Cure team. We are the Pink Fou-Fou Mamas. Believe me, I didn't pick the name. I think we finally have everything in place now. We'll be doing two fundraisers, including a garage sale. So if you have any junk that you want to donate, send it my way! ;)
Our bookgroup is meeting at my place tonight, so I spent the rest of last night cleaning and making peanut butter bon bons. Yeah, they're really yummy!! The good food makes up for the crappy book.
29 days until Van Helsing opens! (not that I'm keeping track)
