leighblackMy aunt called me today and said she needed some baby photos of herself for a team exercise at work. I said I'd go to my parents house to see what I could find to scan in for her. I totally got distracted by some fantastic photos from my grandparents photo albums and I thought I'd post some of them here.

Why am I sad at Christmas??
Oh. It's because my dad is wearing plaid pants & argyle socks.

The wallpaper & curtains back there in the kitchen are atrocious. I don't know how old I am here, but I totally remember making that birthday cake for my dad. And that horrible shirt my mom is wearing.
There's just something adorable about this photo. This is the day my sister arrived from Texas. That's my mom, the social worker, and my grandparents.
I'm only five here, but I remember every single thing about this photo. We were in Texas to finalize my sister's adoption. My uncle Tim, who lives in Austin, bought me this shirt and I wore it until it was too small. This photo was taken in our hotel room. See, I really did have straight hair.
This is on the plane back from Texas.
That's my dad in the background, but this photo is all about my cousin John.
Those are some sassy threads there Mom.
That's my aunt Jill, my grandma, my mom, my cousin Kris, my cousin Tony, my uncle TJ and my aunt Jane.
I'm obviously the only one in the family with any fashion sense.
Just to prove that yes, I have worn pink in my lifetime.
I was going to fix my super faded hair tonight, but then I started doing this. =/
