leighblackKnow what starts today? Grapefruit league baseball! Don't get me wrong, I love the Wild and they're going to the playoffs and it's going to be awesome! But it's still not as great as the Twinkies starting up again. Yay!

Date: 2007-02-28 05:32 pm (UTC)Grapefruit League is like pre-pre-season. Technically, it's training camp. But instead of running scrimmages to test out new players, they play actual games against other teams. It's not the minor league teams, though some of the players trying out during Grapefruit League time will end up in the minor leagues (aka Triple-A).
