Jan. 1st, 2007 02:10 pmOkay, I don't usually make any New Year's resolutions, but after reading everyone else's lists, I've decided to make a few. Easy ones.
1. I am going to watch all of the DVDs I've bought and never watched. Many of which are still in the plastic wrap. Because what's the point of buying them? My calculations show it's about 100 movies or TV seasons. I'm also going to finally buy or build a shelving unit for all the DVDs, because I'm tired of having large piles of them on the floor.
2. I will read more. This year I only read an embarrassing 61 books. The goal for 2007 is 75 books. And 15 of those must be "real" books that invoke some kind of thinking. No vamps. No romance.
3, I will reach my weight loss goal by Christmas. I think I can actually make it by my birthday, but I want to leave some room for mistakes. No reason to beat myself up if I don't make it.
I think that's a good list. Maybe I'll think of something more later.
