I finally put my gigantic Christmas playlist on my iPod this weekend, so those songs should start to pop up in my stats this week.

Oh. You may have noticed that I didn't make a post about how happy I was that my sexy new phone arrived. Because it didn't. Sprint LOST my order. Or something. I never did get a satisfactory answer on what happened. After TWO hours on the phone with them on Saturday, it should be all straightened out now and I should have my phone later this week. *fingers crossed* Honestly, for the most part, I don't mind Sprint. My service is good, I'm covered very nearly everywhere and I don't get mysterious charges on my bill. But anytime I have to contact them about something, it's a complete disaster. I had horrible problems the last time I changed my phone out too. *grumble*

Oh man, That is why I quit Sprint. The s4erivce was fine, but anythime you had to deal with a PERSON? god help you.

I've had Cingular for 3 years now, and LOVE THEM. If weird stuff happens on the bill, it takes forever to fix it, but they are SUPER NICE about it, even if you have to keep calling back. It's annoying, but at le4ast they are friendly.

I swear they lobotomize the Sprint people the second they are hired.

I'd don't know. I only have to call Sprint maybe once a year or so, so I suppose it's not so bad. It's not like there's really a perfect phone provider, you know? They all have their problems.

Still, I was uber-upset on Sat night.

Sprint is evil. I switched to Verizon in May or so. I much much much prefer Sprint's coverage, as I pretty much can't use my phone here at home at all, but in the 15 months I had Sprint's service, they shut of my phone no less than TEN TIMES. Here's the catch...I was NEVER late making a payment. Apparently there's a $200 spending limit on my account and during each cycle when they would process the next month's bill and send it out but before the current month's bill was due, the combined total of my bills was always over $200, beings that my plan itself was $99. They said repeatedly that the only way that my limit could be increased would be to add another line to my account. What the hell was I going to do with a second cell phone? Call myself??

The straw that broke the camel's back (and I think I blogged this story somewhere) was right after I got back from New Orleans and Austin this spring. I went to Wal-Mart, and as I was walking into Wal-Mart, I was on the phone...I had service. When I came out, I discovered I locked my keys in my car and went to call my aunt to have her bring me the spare...and my service had been shut off. When the guy looked up the account, he noticed that my balance was $201...I was shut off for ONE DOLLAR! When I needed my phone the most!

The fucked post-script to this is I've heard rumors that they've recently dropped the spending limit thing...of course AFTER I get into another contract with Verizon, and I spent a fuckload of money paying the early termination fee with Sprint and buying a new phone with Verizon. This was also only two months after I had bought a $300 phone from Sprint.

I really am pissed, still to this day. Sprint's headquarters is literally across the street from the shopping center that my second job is at. I've been tempted to throw things out of my car at it as I drive by.

Dude. A $99 plan?? Yeech.

There's horrible stories out there for every provider. I'm much less angry about the whole thing today, I guess. We'll see if that stays if I don't get my UPS tracking number by Wednesday.

Yeah, well, I have no home phone, and I (when I have coverage) talk a lot.
