leighblackI was having a really great day today. And then I got to work.
My boss let me have the morning off since I've been working a lot of extra hours. I slept in, then took a 4 1/2 mile walk since it's beautifully sunny out. My drive to work took about half the normal time since it was after rush hour. Last night they updated one of our systems and the part of it I need to do my job is broken now. That's not helpful. And I was supposed to spend the afternoon at a team "gathering" at a local sports bar since the Boss Lady wants to reward everyone for working so much lately. But about 30 mins before I was supposed to leave, I got a list of 60 people that need to be set up with access in another of our systems and they need to be set up today. Of course, they didn't bother telling me what exactly these users need to be set up with. So, instead of enjoying a beverage and perhaps some hot wings, I'm sitting waiting for an email back so I can spend a couple hours setting up all these people. Oh joy.
Oh, lookee. There's my email now.
