I suppose I haven't posted much about what's actually going on with me lately. I'm still sick, although I think I've finally entered the realm of "I feel better." Although I felt much better yesterday than I do today. Sometimes it's hard to judge if it's my cold or my allergies. I am way overmedicating myself because of this. All I really want to do is be able to breathe! And get my voice back! It's been all out of whack for over two weeks now.

Other than that. things are okay I suppose. I'm adjusting much better to being at home than I have after previous rock-star-stalking road trips. "Chad" is not every other word out of my mouth. Although I'm kind of lonely. It's difficult to be out with friends every night and have people telling me how glad they are to see me and how much they're going to miss me and generally feel loved, and then come home and...well, no one really cares. If nothing else, my dog is at least happy that I'm home. This just makes me all that more excited for the Cathouse show in October.

Oh, and on that front, I DO have the money to go. I started vaguely looking at flight prices, and it's definitely within my budget. If you didn't see Riki's post on sludge, tickets for the show go on sale on Sept 1st. However, he's also having some special MySpace presale thing too. I recommend going to his myspace and subscribing to the blog to stay up to date with things if you think you might be going.

I don't think I mentioned it, but I recently got a new boss at work. This is actually good, because I like her a lot, and my old boss just wasn't working out. He really didn't give a shit about what I did and took no initiative to learn. K is much different though, and she's been at least trying to wrap her head around all the things that I do. And she's been trying to find other things to get me involved with so I might actually have some stuff to do. Because right now things are pretty dead. Today, for instance, I finished everything I had to work on about 1 1/2 hours after I got here. And that's with spending some of that time goofing off on the Internet. So, I'm learning a couple new systems and taking on some more things. K seems to think that a promotion will be in the works too, since my job description will now have more things added to it. That's cool. I like working for her.

Thanks. I'm sure I'll feel fine once I get more back into the swing of normal life.

Me too! I was already sick for three weeks this summer! And now it's been ten more days on top of that. Boo.
