i just wanted to say thank you for reawakening my pearl jam love cuz before i met you i didnt break out the old tapes and albums nearly as often

and thanks again for the pugs and hisses card, i re-found it and put it up on my desk and it makes me laugh whenever i see it. the lil dog should be friends with wonky bear. :)

Okay, so I don't have quite the same feelings towards PJ as many I mean I listen to them when they're on the radio. But my question (finally) is this: How is it that they're paired up with Tom Petty? They don't really seem like they fit as groups that go together? Or am I wrong?

No, actually they fit pretty well with Tom Petty. It's fairly similar music and they share some of the same fan base. They're only doing 6 shows together though.

Oh, ok. I was just curious. Because PJ is to me very rock/grunge a little, but accessible. Tom Petty seems rock/folk-ish to me. But cool, glad you had a good time!
