Point 1 - Not one, but two people asked if we still had Valentine's items/cards out while I was at Hallmark last night. *eyes calendar* Nope, I didn't just get transported a week back in time. I'm pretty sure the first lady was just looking for discounted crap, but the 2nd one honestly thought I was going to start digging through boxes of packed up cards for her. Yeah...not happening.

Point 2 - A big sign was in our window advertising an available management position. Hmmmmmm. The cow-worker I took over for was surprisingly ungossipy about it, so I had to track down other people to find out what was going on. Our manager, who I couldn't stand, quit yesterday morning. I think she's doing her 2 weeks though, as she was still on the schedule. It'll be interesting to see who they'll be able to hire with dirt wages and no bennies.

Point 3 - An ambulance just arrived and a paramedics wheeled a stretcher into the department next to mine. I'm trying to care, but I can't stand any of those people, so it's not working out very well. I'm just glad they weren't here for Kristin, who just got back from having a baby and battling cancer at the same time.

I'm picking up my Rent DVD after work today. Yay!!
