Walk the Line didn't get nominated for Best Picture. That's surprising, but awesome for Crash. I still have a hard time deciding if that or Brokeback Mountain was my favorite movie from last year. BBM is sure to win Best Picture now though, and hopefully some other awards.

I really, really, really want Jake to get Best Supporting. I thought he was by far the stronger of the two actors and he deserves some credit. And he's a tall dish of hot, besides. ;)

Jakey G is totally getting underrated for his performance. I thought he did a great job! Though, if I was betting, I'd say Clooney or Giamatti are getting the award.

oh man. it's such a great movie. i LOVED it. joaquin phoenix was awesome as johnny cash.

i've only seen brokeback mountain and crash. i'm gonna be a busy kid for the next month.

I heard this morning on NPR that BBM may not do all that great because they didn't get a nom from the Screen Actor's Guild or some such thing. I have no idea what that means, but that's what they said.

I LOVE Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, both.

BBM didn't get any awards for the actors at the SAG awards. But I would guess it'll win Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Score at the Oscars. I'm not sure about Heath, Jake & Michelle though. I think they'll be going home empty handed.

I hate Reese Witherspoon with a passion, but still think she'll win.
