It's Monday. I'm bored and exhausted. I was dog sitting again all weekend, which is not particularly restful. Especially since Riley either cut his paw or broke a nail (he wouldn't let me look at it closely, so I'm not sure which) and spent pretty much all of Saturday night standing next to the bed and whining. He wasn't making "my paw hurts" indications until Sun afternoon, so I had no idea what was wrong with him. I ended up getting out of bed several times to walk around the house with him, let him outside, try to get him to lie down, etc. All to no avail and I finally kicked him out of the bedroom so Earl & I could get a little sleep.

Other than that, it was a pretty damn uneventful weekend. I was supposed to go out and see a former co-worker's band on Sat night, but since no one would go with me and I didn't feel like sitting in the bar by myself, I didn't go. I probably should have though. I miss going out. I did finish all of the regular stitching on my cross-stitch project and now I'm entrenched in the detail work. I've forgotten how much I hate backstitching. It seems to be especially difficult with this project, but I'm muddling through. I'm saving the unpleasantness of the metallic thread until the end.

I did watch CJ, of course. There were things I liked and a couple things I didn't. I really like how they're actually referencing past seasons, which is a rarity in TV today. Hell, most shows don't even mention anything from the last episode. But I enjoyed that Bug's crush on Lily was brought up (although I'm still not sure why they're going back there) and I do like that Abby returned. Woody whipping out his cell cam put me in stitches (see, I can enjoy things about him) and Nigel's secret "keeping" was wonderful. Not good: I woke up with "Good Morning Starshine" stuck in my head and I wasn't exactly happy about that. =/

I really need to stop going over to Coffeerooms though. I want to slap about 95% of those people. My favorite thing now is how Jordan should get rid of JD. Ummmmmm...she cheated on him. I'm thinking he should be kicking her ass to the curb, not the other way around. But whatever. Since I'm not all OMG!!!11!!!!WOODY+JORDAN=INLOVE4EVA!!!!!111!!! my opinion means nothing. I also love how JD is a psycho because he is a)Trying to do his job and report the news, even if it is about Jordan's boss and b)Trying to work things out with Jordan. Yes, definitely unstable.

I'll up that to 99% of the people. The first two, two and half seasons it was half the fun of watch the show was going over there. I miss that but not enough to put up with it. Hell, we used to disagree about most everything...but it never got catty. I think we are showing our age.

My niece and her girlfriend get a kick out of the pissing contests. I usually get a play by play email if they're really funny.

I know! Once I figured out that he was hurt, I felt so bad for him. Especially since I had spent most of the night pleading with him to stop whining so I could sleep. He'll be fine though.

Dude! I really enjoyed the first time Bug hung up the phone, but I rolled when he did it the second time. That was fab!

Oh, I'll get into it with a couple people over there once in a while, but it's lost the fun. A certain someone has an agenda that the show MUST be all about Jordan & Woody and there's just no reasoning with her about it. Drives me insane. Now I mostly just lurk or answer questions about the music. It's easier than trying to fight about things. Especially since it's about a freaking TV show! I have better things to do. =)

They should re-name the CR in "Woody/Jordan-Coffeeroom". I go there once in a while to catch some tibits from Allan, but all these "Woody/Jordan - topics" makes me sick (and I am a W/J shipper!).
The ep was great! Fun and drama in a right mix (the last scenes made me cry). Woody and his cell phone made me spat my juice over the monitor lol I think this was the first scene ever, where Woody und Matt talked, wasn't it.)

Yeah, well... Lily/Bug? I don't know how to feel about this right now. I can't see Lily with Jeff (it happened much to fast) or with Matt, but Bug ... this is really old stuff. But we will see, what they are planing.
I loved the way Matt and Bug worked together (the interrogation part was fun!).

There is one thing I didn't get: Why did the Jane Doe loose her arm?? She was trapped in this box, where the shark couldn't reach her, wasn't she?

The JD hate pisses me off like none other. He is an incredibly good guy. He cares deeply about Jordan, he wants to make it work, and even though she is a complete HEADCASE, he loves her. Yeah, okay, so his job requires him to be honest, but Jordan Cavanaugh, IS THAT A BAD THING? Especially since she was honest about Macy drinking on duty, which really was ballsy for her. So yeah.

Of course, I think JD is PSYCHO for KEEPING Jordan and being willing to work past her and her crazy sex-with-Woody ways, but really, I can live with that. It just proves how deeply good he is. Unlike Woody, who has turned into a lunatic but no one can see past it because he's Woody and thusly can Do No Wrong Ever.

And I swear right now, with God and Fandom as my witness, if Bug and Lily hook up I will have to burn something. What, I have not decided, but that pairing? Will lead to FIRE.

I personally don't care one way or the other if Jordan & Woody hook up. I just thought the way they did it last week was incredibly clichéd and unimaginitive. In fact, I thought a lot of the episode was rather blah because the storyline sucked, but the whole board thought it was the GREATEST EPISODE EVARR!!!!! just because of the hookup. Ummmmm, sorry, but I'm looking for more than that in a crime drama. This week was much, MUCH better. I loved everyones interactions together. There were like a zillion characters involved, and they all had a nice part.

Yeah, I'm not excited about Lily/Bug or anything. It's just amazing that they brought it back up, since three seasons ago is an eternity in TV time and usually completely forgotten. I like Lily with Jeff and really hope they keep him around.

Oh, they mentioned that the killer had to cut her arm off to fit her in the trunk since it was a little small.

Oh, I think Jordan should be slapped quite often. She was better, then she trampled all over JD. Too many folks were praising her cheating, or tring to justify that she wasn't cheating since she really loved Woody. Okaaaaaaaay. Whatever.

This is why I like lj. Even in the CJ communities, there's lots of different opinions and it's okay.

Woody is just too weird lately. He was all angsty and mad, then completely fine and now the good ol' farm boy again. Huh? I don't get it. Stick with one.

Oh, I don't think Bug & Lily will ever hook up. Maybe there will be a disasterous date along the line, but never true dating. I just don't see it.

I think they are the same thing. And I think it's okay that they are. ;) It just bothers me a little that JD is so willing to make it work when Jordan is proving again and again how emotionally unstable she is. If it'd just been a one-night-stand cheating thing, okay, JD. I can see that. But she's constantly doing her little Jordan Dance of Inability to Deal with Boys, and really, I'm surprised JD hasn't run screaming yet. He's a stronger man than I. (Of course, I'm not a man, so ya know.)

Woody is either on some heavy drugs, has newly developed bipolar tendences, or is pregnant. That's the ONLY reasons for the mood swings from angst to happy and pissy to cute.

If they do, burning. Because honestly, it would be a disaster, and none of us would by it. Lily and Jeff, I buy. I buy completely. Lily and Garret, I buy (though not so much now). Lily and Seely, sure. But Lily and Bug just doesn't work. Bug worships her too much, and thinks too highly of her, and it'd be awful. Maybe if she ever came down to the level of "normal human being" with Bug, but she doesn't.

(Nigel, on the other hand... Bug doesn't delude himself into thinking that Nigel is perfect. THAT is why they need to hook up. And if that doesn't work, I am now offically okay with Bug/Seely.)

I guess TPTB have to do what they have to do when competing against shows like "Grey's" I was never a JD fan but yeah...I wanted to slap her silly. At least they haven't dicked with Nigel too much. :D (thank God. I'm too vested to quit watching the show...but the last two season have me giving or taking episodes to the point where I've quit taping-to-keep it)

Agreed!! Enough screentime for everyone. This was really an old-CJ-style ep, which we had during the last four seasons (and which is the reason, why I became addicted to the show)

I have to admit, I haven't been too exicted about this season. I keep having to look up the episode descriptions so I can remember what they were even about. I remember every episode from last season though.

Yeah, it was when they opened the trunk in the morgue. I think it was Seely who said something like "He had to cut her arm off to fit her in."

Goodness...Leigh, your entry is much more fun that CR right now. I count almost 5 full pages from when I go off the computer last night.....and I'm not sure it's worth reading any of them....

First off....what is the thing about the cell phone pic...I must have missed it....depends on how early it was in the show to begin with.

AS far as JD????? He is either totally smitten with Jordan and will do anything to keep her or psycho enough to become a stalker and do anything to keep her.

Eh, I didn't find anything too enlightening on CR. More of the same. TPTB are total and complete geniuses since they made Woody and Jordan hook up. JD is a psycho/loser/moron. Blah blah blah.

Oh, when Seely was trying to get the shark into the morgue, Woody helped him open the cargo elevator doors since they were stuck. Once Woods saw Seely there with a big shark, he whipped out his cell and took a pic.

I don't know if I think JD is either of those. I think he just really likes Jordan and could see himself with her and wants to try to work it out. Not completely smitten, because he can clearly see her faults, which a smitten person probably would not be able to. And definitely not stalkerish. I don't see that at all.

I had CJ on, but I really didn't watch it past Jordan & Woody waking up in bed. Meh, I don't hate it, but it's not very interesting either. Sadly, I didn't even watch it for Nigel, but it's on my Tivo, so I might check it out.

I only check out CR once in a blue moon for Alan's spoilers. After I got banned, there really wasn't much point. But some of those chicks need to be seriously bitch-slapped.

Frankly, I thought JD was being very sweet and patient and understanding and *looks furtively around for W/J shippers* I think Woody and JD could both do better than a woman who can't commit after four years, bails at the first hint of guy1 having issues, falls right into a relationship with guy2, comes back and screws guy1, then can't be honest enough with guy2 to tell him she's not sure if the sex meant anything.

I wasn't really. Certainly not to start with, anyway. I'm not entirely sure what transpired, but I'm pretty sure I know who was behind it. It was quite a while ago - last season.

Basically, someone had a huge hissyfit and I basically replied with words to that effect. "Geez, way to pitch a hissy" or somesuch. This happened late on a Sunday evening and a whole thread began and actually was pretty civil, more or less. Even the person I replied to saw the humor in it. Then early Monday morning, the majority of that thread disappeared. When I posted questions as to what had happened, my posts first disappeared within a few minutes and eventually never even showed up in the first place.

I was never contacted by a Mod. Nothing. I could basically read to my heart's content, but I couldn't post anything. Oh! I do think I got something that basically said 'We don't discuss why comments are deleted and don't allow discussion about it, either.' I think it was basically the equivalent of a form letter. It was basically, 'We don't have to justify anything to the likes of you'
