I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes office supplies."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

I came across your LJ on a Crossing Jordan thing, but I'm basically all about the Sci-fi. Actually I think it was a Steve Valentine thing. Even better.

About me. I love Sci-Fi Fridays on the SciFi channel. I also love Crossing Jordan. I think I love Nigel cos he sorta bridges the gap. Dude definately has something a bit otherworldly about him.

My favored drink is gin and tonic and I probably drink too much of it, but it doesn't give me a hangover.

And many weekends will find me out headbanging to Deep Purple with my friends' local band, Pale Spririt. And um... my vertebrae are waaaay too old for that 80's headbanging crap, but it's fun anyway. They play other stuff, but I'm beginning to think they just play Deep Purple to see me get out on the dance floor and make an ass of myself. Well, I guess everyone needs their entertainment.

As for the name, it's cos I just really loath the 'ship wars' in fandom. Any fandom. But I don't want *you* to STFU. :)

I won't eat chicken on the bone. Stems from my veggie days and I gag thinking it's like pulling flesh from a carcass.

I suffer from gephyrophobia. Which is the fear of crossing bridges. Seriously. I've had panic attacks and it makes travel interesting.

I HATE having my feet touched. My relex is to either jerk away violently or kick out at the person who touched them. My family laughs at me because it drives me INSANE. Also makes for a fun time getting a pedicure.

Well, being as I am not even entirely sure about how to write good HET smut, I'm terrified of trying to write boy!smut and it coming out too sappy or too boring or just...incorrect.
