(no subject)

So much for my relaxing day off. My mother started calling me about 15 minutes after I woke up this morning. After 3 phone calls about random things, she finally hookwinked me into vacuuming two of the buildings, since the lady who usually does it had to be somewhere else today. Of course, since I was over near the office, it also became "Can you help your uncle with this?" and I spent another hour working on documents. =/ I mean, I made $30, so it wasn't awful or anything, but I had planned on sitting on my ass today.

And transferring things to my new external hard drive!! It finally came!! Me happy!! So is my computer, because it was really stuffed full. I have all of the music moved over already, now I have to transfer things from the CDs I had to burn things on to make room.

duckduck, her j and I went to see The Dandy Warhols at First Ave last night. I can't remember the last time I really went out, so I was super looking forward to it. They didn't disappoint! They played for almost 2 hours without a break and they sounded really great. And they played "Minnesoter," which was a crowd pleaser, as you can imagine. It was really smokey in there though, even with the smoking ban, and I could barely keep my super dry eyes open after a while. Ick. Otherwise though, a good time was had.

There's a lot of Dec b-days to remember...
