Mar. 11th, 2005 10:11 amI'm going to try to do something like a real update. I got home yesterday to a mailbox stuffed full of goodies! First, I finally got my Robin Black CD. (It got lost in the mail & returned to CDUniverse, which is why it took so long to arrive) I like some of the songs so far. I think it'll grow on me. I don't like what they did to "Hellraiser" though. I also got ( this ) completely useless piece of plastic, which I bought on eBay. I haven't decided what to do with it yet, so it's clipped on my desk. Lastly, I got my VHS copy of Trojan War, which I immediately burned to a DVD and screencapped. See yesterday's post for reference. The rest of my zillions of recent eBay purchases should start arriving today or tomorrow. I know what I'll be doing this weekend!

kaceofspades. I haven't seen her since the Brides show last May, so this was long overdue! We met at Torrid and I knew I was in big trouble as soon as I saw their window. Everything was black & green! I'm all "Wicked!!" Too bad their stuff is way too expensive, or I would have bought this great sweater and fab skirt. Instead, I did buy these pants:

I also bought these horribly annoying green & black argyle socks, which I'm wearing today. ( Click to see what they look like! ) And I thought I'd never have use for a camera phone. You can see my breakfast of a Red Bull and Vanilla Coke sitting on my desk.
We went out to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's after Torrid, then wandered around the Mall for a while. I got some green hair gel and sparky green eyeshadow at Hot Topic and Kace got a bunch of books at B&N. (Oh, she says hello to everyone. Even though she doesn't post here, she does read her f-page occasionally to keep up with everyone.) We meandered though the shoes at Nordstroms, then called it a night. It was so great to see her! We're going to do this more often, for sure.
I posted the Trojan War caps when I got home, watched CJ, saw the last part of Ewan on The Tonight Show, fiddled with more web pages and finally went to bed around 1am. Now, of course, I'm exhausted. I'm supposed to go out tonight, but I guess I'll have to see how I feel.
