Did someone drop a muse? Because I seemed to have picked it up.

So...I'm writing something. Not so much a story - a ficlet really. It was rolling around in my head all night and I decided to finally commit it to paper. Or a document, I suppose. =) I haven't written anything even vaguely fictional since college, at least. Maybe even high school. That's a long time ago. I don't know where the hell this came from. I'm not a writer. My left-brainedness pegs me as more of an editor/proofreader. And I worry that I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I've never written fanfict before, much less with slashy overtones. But I've decided to see this through, as I already have a good chunk of it done.

*drum roll please*

Okay, here's my ficlet. Be gentle - I'm a virgin. It needs some work, and a new title, but I think it's a good start.

Rating: PG, for some sexual situations and a slashy longing.
Summary: A Crossing Jordan fan fiction, starring Nigel & Bug and a character of my own making.

Background: Since I assume most of you don’t watch Crossing Jordan, I’ll give a little background. Nigel Townsend is a criminalist/forensics expert in the Boston Coroner’s Office. Mahesh “Bug” Vijayaraghavensatyanaryanamurthy also works there as forensic entomologist.
