Five questions for me from

My answer for this always used to be California. Without even thinking about it. And I still probably would like to live there. But I really, really liked NYC. Yeah, I know, it's expensive and everyone's close together. blah, blah, blah...But I know I would like it!
2. What is one book that you would recommend to me and why?
Hmmmmmm...Okay, my standard "this is a really good book and pretty much everyone likes it" answer is The Seduction of Water by Carol Goodman. It's a really beautiful story about a young woman trying to sort through the past and find out who her mother truly was. Okay, kind of Oprah-ish, but not really. There's also folklore and mystery woven it, and it ends up with a really great story. I think you'd like it!
3. Say you won a million dollars and you had to donate half of it to charity, what would you do with each half?
I would give my charity half to the MN AIDS Foundation. They do a lot of good work around here. My half to keep I would...First, I would buy a brand new car, because I've never had a new new car. Then, I would probably buy a townhome. Nothing huge. I'd bulk up my DVD collection a little bit, take a trip to NYC to see Wicked and whatever is left would be saved for upkeep on my new place.
4. What is the geekiest piece of fandom-related material that you have? (Pillowcase excluded.)
Hmmmmm, geekier than a pillowcase? Even if the drummer for the band on the pillowcase saw the pillowcase in my possession and busted me? No, I do have one that beats that. *embarrassed* So, Chad, the drummer for Faster Pussycat and my lust object, asked if he could use our hotel room to take a shower in Clear Lake, IA. It just happened that our room was right next door to the place they were playing. Of course, we let him in and he did his thing. And then I STOLE the towel from the hotel room! *facepalm* It's still in my possession, but I have no idea what the hell I will ever use it for.
5. If there was ever one single movie that struck you as one above the rest, what was it?
Oh boy, that's a good one. Something you need to understand about me is that I am a very literal person. Some people say that they can get swept away by movies - yeah, that doesn't happen to me. I enjoy the movie for what it is, but that's about it. Oh, and I don't really watch classic movies either. Sooooo, that being said...I'd have to go with Reservoir Dogs. It completely blew me away the first time I saw it. It's so well crafted! Especially for a cheap indie movie.
