Something strange is afoot

Because of what I do at work, I get the Termination notices whenever an employee gives notice or whatever. I just got notices to term three employees' access immediately - aka they've been let go. These are three fairly major employees, two of whom have been here for a long ass time. Then I got a notices that one of our high-level guys gave his two weeks. And he's been here for years! This is some pretty major stuff, and I feel a little weird that I know about it already, since I doubt everyone knows. Gossip, very strangely, doesn't travel very fast around here.

I didn't really mention it, but I joined m3p3 at the suggestion of duckduck. The premise: people fill out a small form and then are matched up with an anonymous pen pal. The sekrit pen pal sends them music for two weeks, and they get their own person to anonymously send music to via yousendit.com. I received some pretty good music, but I really had more fun picking out music to send to my pen pal, carolinecrane. All those obscure or weird people/bands that I love were shared! So, I thought I'd post a list of things I sent, in case you were ever wondering "What does the legendary Leigh Black like to listen to?" ( Song list behind the cut )

I think I originally signed up to send 8-13 songs, but I went a wee bit over that. ;) I would suggest that you guys join m3p3 so you can be informed when the next round starts. It's fun!
