BOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRED

Hey-Zeus, I'm bored right now. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is going on at work, since there's not many people here. This is quite different from my drive this morning, which was quite exciting. About 10 miles from work, I hit the freezing rain that they had been warning about. I could no longer see out my windshield, or stop, as the road was suddenly glare ice. Sliding diagonally across the road tends to wake you up a bit. Thankfully, I didn't have anyone tailing my ass like I usually do in the morning. That would not have been good.

My boss is one of the people out, so I've spent a lot of my morning playing Bejeweled. I've seen some memes going around, but I'm too lazy to work on them. I think I'm going to work on cleaning out my computer and finally send all the photos I have stored on here to my home 'puter. I cleaned the home 'puter last night (I had to - you could barely see my desktop!) so I'm slightly motivated to do it here too. I have to see if I can make it last 3 hours though, and that might be a stretch.

Oh, Idina Menzel fans should go here and d/l her show from last week. I was listening to it this morning and it's really good. There's little bits and pieces missing, but you can't argue with free.

I'm sitting here watching my John Denver & The Muppets: A Christmas Together DVD which finally arrived today! OMG!! I seriously doubted that I'd ever be able to see it again. Goddess bless you, eBay!!

Since I'm feeling very Christmas-y right now, ( Here's a photo of my tree... )

Of course, my tree itself isn't very Christmas-y. I mean, a good number of my ornaments happen to be Star Wars ships and cartoon or comic book characters. I don't think there's a Santa or even a snowman anywhere! And no, there's no angel or star on top. Instead, I have a Stellaluna hand puppet. Yes, my tree is topped by a Christmas bat. But, it's my tree & I like it and that's all that matters!
