Another music poll
Dec. 14th, 2004 11:27 amIf you can't tell, I'm working on new mix CDs to bring to work. I'm getting tired of the CDs I've been carrying around, and I'm sure my coworkers are tired of showtunes. So, my next couple CDs are going to be GOOD cover songs. Covers seem to be all the rage right now, although I can't stand any of the Korn covers or Manson's "Personal Jesus." I pretty much know which songs I'll be using, but I'd like to see your suggestions in case there's songs I'm forgetting. There will be two CDS: one that's more low-key and acoustic (with songs like the Pumpkins' "Landslide" and the Cowboy Junkies' "Sweet Jane") and one that's more rock music (such as Manson's "Tainted Love" and FP's "You're so Vain").
[Poll #403127]
In case you're interested, my favorite cover songs are Pearl Jam's "I've Got a Feeling" and Kik Tracee's "Mrs. Robinson" and perhaps the Newlydead's "Cities in Dust."
And I totally can't believe I forgot Hugh's "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" on my Christmas CDs. I must have been asleep!
