A mega-huge update

I haven't been able to write any real updates lately because I've actually been rather busy at work this week. Yes, I know - it's shocking. But I've had a lot of things I've wanted to discuss, so this may get long.

First of all, I want to get some feedback. I'm worried that my perception is clouded. As you may have noticed, I have a slight bit of an obsession for Hugh Jackman. (those reading this: "Gee, you don't say?") I've recently been sorting out photos for my new scrapbook, entitled the "Dishy Guy" scrapbook. However, it soon became clear that I have enough photos and things for Hugh to have his own scrapbook. Especially now when I seem to get about 3 or 4 new Van Helsing mags a week. I wasn't going to work on it right now, but then I got to thinking. If I cracked down and really worked at it, I could get it pretty much complete before August, and then I could bring it with me to New York! So, say that you were a world-famous actor with a reputation for being very generous & patient with your fans. And a fan gurl who is slightly above the age of twelve shows you her scrapbook filled with photos and things of you and asks you to autograph it. Do you think: a) "Oh, how sweet!" or b) "Can I please have your full name so I can go file a restraining order?" I know that August is still like three months away, but if I'm going to work at it, I need to start now. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Our whole company is moving around as we're consolidating floors in the near future. This will be my third cube in a year. (Insert Milton mumbling here) I was a little worried that I'd get stuck with a shitty, little, dark cube like I had before. But no, once again, I'm getting the second-nicest cube in the group. (My boss gets the nicest, of course) I'll still get a window that looks out over the pond and I'm far enough away from people that it won't be too noisy. I don't know why my boss likes me so much, 'cause I swear I don't do anything all day, but she does and I'm not going to argue. :P

And we get to wear jeans tomorrow for the first time in months. That makes me very, very happy!

Today is my lucky day!

Not only was my Australian copy of Empire magazine waiting for me when I got home, but work went very well tonight. I got stuck unpacking & stocking the magazines, which I normally hate. But as soon as I opened the fifth box, I saw in. Pristine, beautiful copies of Interview!! I am a very, very, very happy girl tonight!
