A short update that's all about me
Mar. 26th, 2004 12:21 pmI haven't really updated this with anything interesting lately. Expect more of that in this update.
I don't got nada scheduled for this weekend. Maybe scrapbooking on Sunday, but that's not for sure. I'm probably going to end up dog sitting for my parents while they're in Sioux Falls. I MUST update the website for our book group and for our Race for the Cure team. Oh yes, I lead an exciting life.
My car is in the shop, so I can't do much anyways. I have my mom's extra car right now, but they'll need it back this weekend. I think my car needs a new radiator or a water pump. They're supposed to call this afternoon. I've had the car for a year and this is the first major problem, so that's pretty good.
I am becoming increasingly paranoid when I'm driving. I've had so many instances recently where I've nearly gotten hit! People just swerve in and out of lanes without looking and I'm becoming really nervous while on the highway. I'm hoping that once I get back to road tripping that I'll calm down again.
I finally saw Secret Window on Wed night. It was very amusing, although I don't think it was supposed to be. Johnny Depp is just such an amazing actor. He gave his character all these little quirks that kept me giggling. Unfortunately, during the supposed "scary suspense" scene, I was laughing uncontrolably at how cheesy it was. I doubt that was what they were going for. But still, it was a good movie. I'd really like to see Jersey Girl this weekend, but I don't think it's going to happen.
Wed & Thurs is going to be Adler's Appetite and EZN in Chicago, with all of my girls. It's my first road trip of the year & I can't wait! It's been over three months since we've all seen each other!!
