Some Housekeeping

- Season 1 of CJ for amazonqueenkate Ready & waiting! I just need your address.
- DVD of Nigelicious CJ episodes for devisun7 Done! Packaged & ready for the post office on Monday.
- Muppets Wizard of Oz on DVD for auzrais Will do either tonight or tomorrow and mail on Monday.
- Copy of Wicked Cast Recording, DVD of Boondock Saints to borrow and $$ for Kasey Chambers ticket for duckduck Will give you when I see you on Thursday. BTW, how much is the ticket with the fees & everything?

Do I owe anyone else anything? Because I have a tendency to forget things. Does anyone else want anything from me? This is your opportunity to speak up! Icons, music, DVDs, whatever...

I was finally able to join Audioscrobbler today. Add me if you're on there! Or join up if you're interested. You can see the weird twists & turns my musical tastes take.

She Who Has No Grip on Reality may be trying to stalk me through my journal, so you might want to watch what you have to say about Coffeerooms on here for a little while. I refuse to make my journal FO just because of some whackbag with way too much free time & a paranoia complex. Apparently, now I'm a witch and I'm out to get her and the whole board. I wonder what it's like to give yourself that much importance?? *shrugs*

Well, it's not a file sharing program at all. You sign up, then download a plug in for your WMP (or whatever you use to listen to music) and it sends info on what you've been listening to back to the website. Then it keeps track of what & who you've been listening to. I checked up on it, and it doesn't seem to add anything else to your 'puter or transmit anything more than just the music.

My other half has actually been coding something similar - except you don't need to install anything, you just throw up your winamp playlists, it takes the HTML and converts it, then stores it in a database. You can cross-reference based on an algorithm that takes the track name, band name, number of times played, etc, so you can punch in a band you like and it will show you other bands / tracks that you might like based on other peoples selections :)

Winamp 5 does that too - if you click on the ML button on the main screen (next to the PL one) and then zoom down the menu on the side to where it says "recently played", it lists all the tracks you've been playing, along with a numerical count of number of times played :)

Yeppers. I think there's only 5 episodes I'm missing now. I'd be happy to copy them for you, but my DVD Recorder only records in Region 1. Would you be able to play them?

I'd burn 'em onto the 'puter and send them to you that way, but I'm still on a dial-up, so it's pretty much impossible for me.

Okay. That's cool. You want everything I have? It'll take me a while. Or else, let me know what episodes you want. Not every episode is in really great shape. For Seasons 1-3, if I haven't got the A&E version, I have a copy of a copy of a copy of the episode. Some of them are a little rough.

(I know my list is a bit crazy...but seeing as the VCR gets crap reception in here and I don't have time to sit down and regularly watch TV...I just download it. Easier in the end :P)

I'm missing a few episodes from the middle of season 4. Vegas, Fire From the Sky, Necessary Risks, Stranger Among Us, and Family Affair. I'm not really worried since it looks like they're going to have reruns this summer. I'll get 'em eventually.
