I can suddenly watch streaming video at work again, which is blissful. But I found a way to record it, so I can watch the clip at home at anytime. Once I have some time, I'm going to upload it to my site.
Steve is just a great, funny guy. That clip sold me on that fact, because he's just goofy and optimistic. Most people would have bitched about getting seriously punched. He just kids around.
Isn't streaming video wonderful? I can't wait until next year, when I have better, off-campus internet and will be able to watch so much more streaming video and listen to streaming audio and all that. Life will be good.
He is funny. I listened to this really long interview at my parents house last night & it totally cracked me up. Plus, I could listen to that accent all day long.
*dreamy fangirl sigh*
I have no idea when I'm going to be able to dig myself out of dial-up hell. Until then, I abuse my 'rents cable modem as much as possible.
What long interview is that? I found a long Steve interview with some Canadian radio DJ once. I should try to dig it up for you. It was back when the show was new, and pretty hilarious at points.
I love his accent. Of course, all British accents are hot.
My roommate for next year and I both agreed that we will DIE without cable TV and internet, and MediaCom (local cable company) has some great deals, so we're going to plunge in feet first. Which is good, because I don't think I could function with dialup. (Of course, as soon as I'm out of college, I think I'm going to have to.)
That's the very interview I was listening to. Confused caller: "Oh! You're that guy!" Steve: "Yes, I'm that guy." Heh heh. My mom didn't get why I was laughing so hard. I recorded it so I can post in on my site too. Someday I'm going to get around to doing all that.
I have to figure out what the difference is between adding a cable modem and what I pay for my land line. Because if they're the same, I'm just going to switch and cancel my phone. I don't use it except for my computer.
That interview was great. I loved the confused old woman. Hehehe.
That's what the roomie and I are planning to do - no land line. I can't even remember the last time I used the landline in my current room. I get calls on it occasionally, but I haven't actively called someone on it in ages. The cell is so much more convenient.
I wasn't paying attention to what was on TV, but I heard the opening bass line come on and whipped around towards the telly. Only to be greeted by a Coors commercial. Sheesh!

(I have found that our radio office lets me watch NBC streaming video, because our internet is not capped down there. Bliss!)
