Hah! When I go looking for cards, I find a cover I like and then open it up. If it has more than 3 or 4 lines, I immediately put it back.

TOO MANY WORDS!!!!!

I like my sentiments to be short, sweet and generally amusing.

So many of our customers want a card to say the exact thing they're looking for. Like a card that says Happy 8th Birthday to my Grandson. And do not comprehend that a store just cannot carry cards that are that specific. We just don't have that kind of room/money for inventory that won't sell. And truthfully? That kid does not care if the card is just a Happy Birthday Grandson card! He is probably not going to read it anyways.

But you're like me. Either I instantly like a card or it gets put back. Simple & sweet is exactly what I want.
