The Receiving End of Sirens - ...Then I Defy You, Stars
Self-inflicted surgery is now routine,
It erases all traces of faces
Alkaline Trio - Burn
Somehow we fell down by the wayside
And somehow this hell is home
Lacuna Coil - Survive
I'll survive in this nothing leading nowhere
I'll survive, survive
The Academy Is... - Ghost
Well, there are fine lines I've seen we are stuck in between.
With separate eyes to use and throw aside.
Alter Bridge - Find the Real
I look in the mirror
Only to find
The face of a stranger
Green River Ordinance - Waiting for a Sign
So how will I know that you're still here
I just want to see you and feel you again
The Birthday Massacre - Two Hearts
Two hearts dreaming nightmares together
Leaving nothing more, nothing left to say
30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie
Hide behind an empty face
Don't ask too much, just say
'Cause this is just a game
A Change of Pace - Prepare the Masses
Prepare the masses, cause this means war
And if it's a fight they want, we'll bring the hell they're looking for
Madina Lake - Never Take Us Alone
For the last time I'll give myself to the enemy,
By letting their words just walk all over me.
My Chemical Romance - The Only Hope for Me is You
If there's a place that I could be
Then I'd be another memory
Sam Roberts - Love at the End of the World
Light fades, becomes shade
You're holding on but you're slipping away
Till I can't feel you anymore
Midtown - Whole New World
Just because we're abandoned
Doesn't mean we're alone
In This Moment - Standing Alone
And now I'm standing here alone.
Still I hold my head up high.
Emilie Autumn - Juliet
You're in my stars you know
Don't need no crystal ball to tell me so
I had a fantastic time creating this mix! It's quite a deviation from the singer-songwritery type stuff than I usually put on my fanmixes. I think it matches the story pretty well. =)
