You know how you get a song stuck in your head? And maybe you might sing along to some of the words under your breath? Or even out loud? This is not so good when the song is "Dick in a Box."

And you work at Hallmark.

With your mom.

=/

In other news, to balance out this afternoon's decorative plate presentation, my boss brought in bagels for the entire floor. Yummy!

But I just got an email from someone in our Louisville office that called me darlin'. Say what?

LOL. That sounds like a bad joke. I love it.

Maybe beep yourself out like they did on the show? haha.

I've had that song in my head ever since, too.

My favorite line: Step Two: Put your junk that box.

I keep watching the video on my iPod, so that's not helping any.

Best. Line. Ever.

Hahaaha! You watched SNL, too! I think Justin Timberlake is a better comedian than a singer. "Dick in a Box" is stuck in my head now, too. :)

Yep, I did watch part of SNL. And I immediately downloaded the "Dick in the Box" video the next day. =)

Ok, now I must go hunt this down on You Tube.

Don't stress on the "darlin'"...it's not nearly as affectionate down south as it is to everyone else. Nearly all of my relatives in TX call just about everyone "darlin'".

Gimme a few months, and I'm pretty sure I'll probably be calling you "Darlin'", darlin' ;)

I'll upload it for you when I get home. =) That way you can keep it forever.

Yeah, but in a professional business situation? By someone I don't know? I'm sure she's just used to it, but I don't have to like it.

yay!

I've noticed that non-Southerners tend to be creeped out by the overuse of pet names by Southerners in every situation. When I started working with the public, I had to train myself to stop calling people I didn't know things like "hun" and "babe". Yet, it's an old habit that doesn't go away, and I find myself doing it from time to time. Some people (especially from the super-yuppie part of town that I work in) just look at you like, "what the fuck did you just call me?" So, I definitely see where you're coming from.

Head south though, and you CANNOT avoid it.
