This and that

If you happened to be (or are) a significantly overweight person, would you go around wearing a giant, bright purple poncho with huge fringe on the edges? I mean, I'm not one to throw stones. I'm a big girl myself. But I try to wear clothing that is flattering to my figure, not something that makes me look like the Fruit of the Loom grape. I encountered this person on the way to the bathroom and had to avert my eyes.

Tomorrow is "Go Red for Women" day to show support for heart disease in women awareness, or something like that. Because I'm sure my clothing choice helps the cause. Pretty much the only red things I own are my Wonder Woman hoodie and my Scottie dog flannel jammie bottoms. Neither are particularly work appropriate, but I guess I'll wear my hoodie. We're also having a Super Bowl party, and people were encouraged to make fake "Pick Me to Show on TV" posters. o_0 You know, like using the name of the company as the first letters in the words of a slogan. Yeah. I'm betting you can guess I didn't participate. They're trying way too hard. Just buy us some pizza and we'll all be happy.

Plans for the next few days:
Tonight - Fun with Hallmark
Friday - Annual "tax return" dinner with the family (Every year, my parents take us all out to a nice place. We're donig it early since this is the only weekend my brother can come home from school until he's done in May.)
Saturday - Fun with Hallmark again, then Walk the Line with dazeebean
Sunday - auroram's Tea Party, then the Super Bowl

I have two weeks to clean my apartment before the girls come up from KC for the weekend. I'm probably going to need that much time, since it's really a mess.
