Dec. 17th, 2003 01:34 pmI have declared an end to the whining. It's a time to be thankful and appreciate what you have. "Gee Leigh, that doesn't sound like you."
I got to work last night and Kathy warned me that there was some bad news going around. We work with this woman, Mary, who is just fantastic. I love her! She's around my mom's age and I really view her as someone I can talk to. Three years ago (at least, I think it was three years), her husband Mike had a heart attack and died the day after Christmas. Understandably, the holiday season is quite difficult for her now. She's really looked stressed this year & I've been a little worried about her. Yesterday morning, her car was sideswiped by a truck and rendered useless. While she was dealing with the damage, she found out that her house was on fire. It burned to the ground and there is very little left that she'll be able to salvage. I just feel so awful!
So, just remember that most of your problems don't mean jack shit. Don't spend time worrying about the little stuff.
