I am such a dork...

Part 1: Not only am I geeky-excited about Ken Jennings & the fact that he's getting his ass kicked in the Jeopardy Ultimate Tournament of Champions, but I have my mom hooked on it too. I was over talking to her today & was going to bolt back to my place to watch it. Instead, after explaining why I needed to get home to watch Jeopardy, she decided she wanted to watch too, so we watched together.

Ken looks so adorably confused.

Part 2: The whole time Novak & Dr. Trainer were talking in the park on SVU, my brain was shouting over them "They're at the Central Park Zoo! In the penguin house!! I was there!" sigh...I really miss NYC.

I have yet to see the movie, but hearing Lucas talk about what a POWERFUL moment it supposedly is makes me think that, yes, it's going to be Lame with a capital L. Ah well.

Um. Well, part of it is powerful. And beautifully shot & pieced together. And then it's all ruined because Lucas is a bad scriptwriter.

We were watching "Return of the Jedi" not too long ago, and my friends were playing "Name which lines Lucas wrote that didn't get edited." Because some of them, you're right, are so bad.

It was just really cliched.

And, yes, Lucus is a bad screenwriter. That accounts for all the bad dialogue. Oh...and the stiff acting....OMG.

Can he be blamed for all the bad acting? He is the director, so yeah, part of it is his fault. And I suppose he hired Hayden Christiansen...so, I guess you're right. The bad acting is all his fault. =)

I feel so bad for poor Ewan McGregor. He did what he could with that dialogue, but still...

Yeah, it's all his fault. We know that some of these actors are awesome, ordinarily. Lucus sucked all their awesomeness away with his directing.
