Since I'm still not feeling all that well, I decided not to go to work again today. I'm a little worried that the new boss might think I'm avoiding him. =) Totally not the case though, as I think he'll be fine.

So, I had a discussion with my stomach about behaving for an hour or so and ran out to do some errands, since I got paid today. Honestly, I know Wal-Mart is an evil corporate giant, but their DVD section is like crack. Things I bought today:
*Wicked: The Grimmerie - Way cool! Still, I think the Rent bible has it beat.
*Susan Squires' The Hunger - Yay! I luuuuuurved The Companion, so I'm very excited to read this.
*The first and third books in the Crimson City series, since I already bought the 2nd book.
*A copy of Curve magazine and the new RT Book Club.
*Batman Begins for $15
*The first season of Nip/Tuck for $20
*The first season of Wonder Woman for $20
*The Ref for $5
*A horribly gaudy velour pillow
*Another new sweater

I think I did pretty good! Now I'm home and back in my jammies and planning to spend the day nestled in front of the TV.

Oooh! I miss having a Wal-Mart close by. I was such a whore for their DVD selection (and prices). I'm jealous. Lol.

I'm pretty lucky because the Wal-Mart right by my house is small and tucked out of the way, so not many people go there. It's really easy to run in, grab my stuff and leave. No lines, no crowds, no hassles.

I have about 40 pages of Me Talk Pretty One Day to finish for my book club, then I'm diving into The Hunger!
