I just picked a strand of dog hair off my shirt. I stopped by my parent's house to see Riley yesterday. Since then, I have and changed clothes twice and showered. Where was it hiding until just now??
Can anyone explain parental logic to me? I called my mom last night around 8:45pm to ask a question. They weren't home, so I left a message and she never called me back. My phone rang at 6:30am(!) while driving to work. She said she hadn't wanted to call last night since they didn't get home until 10:30pm. Me: "So you decided 6:30am was a better time to call?" Mom: "Well, you're up, aren't you?" Me: "Yeah, but I'm not really awake yet. How long have you known me? Have you ever gotten any inkling that I'm a morning person? No, because I'm up past midnight every night." I still don't think she got it.
It's Friday! For me it is, anyways. =) Today is my last day until next Wednesday. I'm leaving for the lovely Minnesota Northwoods after bookgroup tonight. I can't wait! Alcohol, fireworks, boats, skeeters...ahhhhhhh, summer!
And I just submitted my request for time off to go to Nashville for Duran Duran. I'm so excited!! Yee haw! Ann, do I need to bring a cowboy hat, or do they hand them out at the border? ;)
