Look at who was waiting for me when I got to my cube today!!



I was actually speechless for once. And then I totally busted out laughing. Good thing there's not many people here that time in the morning. =) Thank you again to the lovely wilowisp for my totally awesome gift!! ♥ (even if it is a little creepy to have him watching me working) You know I'm going to expect that fic now, right? ;)

Anyhow...hey, it's my birthday! My dad sent me a very concise email that said 'Happy birthday!' Cliffie, you crack me up sometimes. (and I suppose that's better than the year my parents forgot about my birthday) I'm going out to dinner with my friends tonight but the big celebration is on the 18th, of course. So it doesn't really feel like it's a big deal today.

Speaking of the big celebration, I almost have my uniform done! I just have to stitch the sides, put in the collar and hem the bottom. Once I have the sides stitched, I'm going to figure out whether or not I want to leave the zipper in. I think the material is stretchy enough that I may be able to get away with not having the zipper. I only basted it on so it should be easy to pull out. And my insignia patch should arrive on Friday! YAY!

And Star Trek is going to be back in the IMAX this weekend! Guess what we're doing on Saturday night?

May I just say how much I absolutely adore your cubicle?

I have my own office at work, and I keep thinking that I should really decorate it. Not just for me, but because I think it would make the kids a little more comfortable. However, I've never really gotten around to it. :(

Ha, thanks. The issue today though is that apparently people think I'm just adding to the stuff in my cube and Giant Bones is going to live here permanently. I keep having to say 'NO, I didn't bring it in. It's a present.'

I am no expert on kids, so I'm probably no help with that. But we have some people here with kid-like mentalities and they like to come over and look at all my stuff.
