Dakota County, Minnesota! That's where I live!!* I gave a little cheer when it was mentioned.
*This comment will only make sense if you're watching The West Wing.

This may amuse you if you know my mom. Or, if you have a mom. My mom gets mad whenever I mention I've bought a new DVD because she thinks I'm throwing all my money away. Yes, I even get yelled at about it sometimes, even though I'm almost 30 years old. Then today she tells me that she's excited for me to go shopping this week because she wants me to buy new DVDs. Specifically, Brokeback Mountain (which I'll of course be buying) and Narnia (which I have no desire to see or buy) because she wants to be able to borrow them from me. Ummmmm, okay? *shakes head*

I can't believe they're stretching Election Day out for another whole week though. Grrrrrr.

Brokeback is pretty good, but Narnis is GREAT!!!

I'm sure it's great, but it's not for me.

This is entirely unrelated to anything and is going to make me sound like a freak, but I just noticed that when I scroll down your page, the background doesn't move. I am transfixed.

Ummmm, yes. It's fixed in place. Does it look weird? Should it scroll? I just think that makes it look too busy.

No, no, no, don't change it. I like it. I could just scroll up and down for minutes on end.
