Hi! I know I haven't been posting much lately. I've been SO BUSY! But, had a lovely time at auroram's wedding today. Now I am working on the rest of my zombie pirate costume and reading Star Trek fic.

Ahem, anyway, about convergence....um yeah, I looove the fact that you'll be making more "wounds" for the walking dead. That is AWESOMECAKES!!!!!!!!!!! Um but yeah, I have nothing else to do really. B/c basically I need to do this in the price of free. I do have some shorts I could tear up (I would probably need some help doing that) and all bloodied up etc. I could find a shirt or soemthing too that I could destroy as well. B/c I utterly FAIL, I have no geeky sci-fi shirts or anything. I have no costume, just my fake pirate sword.

I do however have a lanyard! Oh and I was hoping too since I'm not all that great with directions, if I could follow someone to the hotel where it's at and then I could possibly maybe be able to get there on my own the other 3 days. Of course this remains to be seen.

Umm, we will have some supplies to help rip up costume pieces, but it'll be easier to do at home. A super easy way is to cut off the hem and/or make cuts in the fabric, then throw it in the washer/dryer to create a frayed edge.

Just so you know, you will need money to eat and stuff. There's not really any free food. We'll be eating lunch and dinner at the hotel or over at TGI Friday's, most likely. Also, it's very polite to give tips in the party rooms, if you're partaking of any drinks or food offered.

I don't know about following exactly. I'll be there really early on both Thursday and Friday and then won't be going back home at all. It's pretty easy to get to the hotel though. Take 494 West to Hwy 100 North. Get off on the first exit, Industrial Blvd, and take a left. Then take a left at the light where the gas station is. The Sheraton is on the service road there, on the right. It's pretty hard to miss!
