You would think so, wouldn't you? And my hair was indeed a pain when I was a kid/teen and didn't know how to take care of it. But now it takes me about 1 minute to fix in the morning and I need to deep condition it every week or two. No trouble at all, really.

Oh wow. I've always had straight hair (Except for the odd perm I got once or twice as a teenager, which were god awful, but we won't go into that!) and I always imagined that having really curly hair would be extremely time consuming to care for.

One of my friends has curly hair, not quite as curly as yours, and she's constantly complaining about how she gets frizz, and pieces constantly break, and it gets tangled, etc.

Ha ha. I got one or two of those awful perms as a teen too. Yes, my hair was already curly. I don't know what my mom was thinking.
