Before:

Some brownish-red color
Step 1:

I'm sort-of blond!

REALLY blond. I didn't think that bleaching kit would work so well.
Step 2:

Uh oh. That turned out a little brighter than I was expecting. Also, I missed a few spots. =/

REALLY bright. Crap. I can't wear it like this to work. Maybe it won't be so bright after the next step.
Step 3:

Okay, whew. It's not quite as noticeable now that I added the black. And it's faded some.

Finished! I like it! I think I'll be okay at work. I'm only there 4 days next week and I can pull my hair back so only the black really shows. I just need to go over a couple spots during the week and I should be all good for next weekend!

It looks great...was it one of the kits you buy at like Target? or did you get it at a salon?
The really bright reddish/pinkish color scared me a bit, but I looooove the finished product...you'll definitely turn some heads! (even more so)

Nope, not at a salon. Walgreens, in fact.

I just did the black very carefully. I pinned all the red/pink up first and just made sure I didn't get the black everywhere.
I used something called Splat, which I got at Walgreens of all places. Came with the color & bleach together. And the black was just Nice & Easy, I think.
