GAH!!
I thought they said the rain was finally supposed to stop today. *whimpers* Please, please, please go away, rain. I NEED the sun!!
And how come, after it's rained nearly every day for six weeks, people still haven't figured out how to drive properly in it? I'm really tired of being late for work because traffic is at a standstill.

*gives you some of the hazy Illinois sun peeking through the clouds...and the stupid wind*

And thanks for the sun, but you can keep the wind. We have plenty of our own.

But I don't WANT it. It screws up my blinds, it threw the storm door open this morning so it smashed into my elbow, and my car doesn't like the wind. So I don't want the wind. Sigh.

I did have one of the living room windows open, and it was sending a plastic bag that I'd left on the floor skittering across the kitchen. THAT was creepy. I didn't know what it was, but I kept hearing it as I was on the computer, and it thoroughly frightened me.
Being alone at night is not always the best thing for me, especially since I tend to not logically figure out what noises are noises and why.

I'm so the opposite of you. I get annoyed when people are around. My aunt popped over the other day and was yapping so much that I couldn't wait for her to leave. I need my quiet!

Oh, I don't really like people being around and talking to me, but I do get kinda creeped out sometimes. I'm not used to being totally alone, with no upstairs or next-door neighbors, and I'm becoming a little paranoid that I might become a pretty easy mark for creeps and crime. (Especially since I don't exactly live in the nicest of areas.)

Well, just look tough and they'll leave you alone.

Or wield a frying pan. Frying pans are good weapons.

For like a month, every day "chance of showers" and we've had nada. C'mon.... my tomato plants need rain!!!! It's rained north, south, east and west of us, and we've had MAYBE three incidents of very light spinkles.

They tell us everyday that there's a slight chance of rain. And then it rains for hours.
