Things I have learned so far this morning...

* Green makeup on your fingers does not work well with office work.
* Blowing your nose while trying not to wipe off your makeup is a difficult skill.
* It is possible to confuse your co-workers with a little green makeup & a wig.
* Wigs are hot. Not as in sexy hot.

Yes, it's Halloween today 'round the old day job. I'm Elphaba, of course. I kid you not, I got up at 4:30am to put on the whole getup. Ugh!




Forgive the crappy photo. I took it myself in my living room while in a huge rush. I'll try to get some better photos later today. With my "hair" long like that, I look eerily, spookily like my mother when she was my age. Like, exactly. Maybe I should have went as her for Halloween instead.

Thanks. I'm quite fond of how it turned out. Plus, hardly anyone else has dressed up, so I'm pretty much a shoe-in for a prize in the costume contest. And the guy in our little cafe who flirts with me every morning gave me free breakfast. ;)

I will come into work like this tonight, don't worry. But I'll probably have to take it all off as it is quite hot, and I'll get all sweaty. I don't want to see what it looks like when it's running down my face.
