The Doctor Who finale needs to DOWNLOAD FASTER!!! We're all waiting in our hotel room for it to finish so we can watch it before tonight's drunken festivities.

I've got a torrent and it is SO FUCKING SLOW. It's been running for more than two hours and is perpetually at an hour left and I just want to tear my hair out. For serious.

Love the Sonic Screwdriver, though. I want one, but I am being good and not, you know, ordering one online. Yet. (The girlfriend has one, though.)

I've got *checks* 13 mins left on my MegaUpload file. YAYS!!

Sadly, no one has my TARDIS USB hub, so I settled for the screwdriver. But I might go back for the TARDIS ice bucket.

Is that anything like the TARDIS fridge? :D

Thinkgeek usually has the TARDIS hubs. The only thing that's stopped me getting one is the fact they're powered. We run off 240V and they're set for US voltages :(

Kinda. They also had the Dalek helmet voice changer thing. WANT.

I know. I'll order it from somewhere. But it would have been nice to just pick up from a dealer.

Mine has a power thing for it, but you don't have to use it.

[identity profile] taleya.livejournal.com 2008-07-07 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
ohhhhh yes I do, apart from the cam everything that plugs into USB needs decent powering (portable hard disks, Ipod for charging, etc)

[identity profile] moryssa.livejournal.com 2008-07-07 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. Everything I've plugged into mine gets its power through the USB connection to the computer. I haven't even taken the power cord out of the box. *shrug*

Depends on the power requirements. I'm a network engineer, so I tend to run some pretty beefy stuff :/
