Reminder to self: Don't listen to "I'll Cover You - Reprise" while zipping down the highway at 75 mph. It always makes you cry, no matter how many times you've heard it! Tears + hurtling through traffic = bad idea.

I'm bored out of my mind. Work has been slooooooooooow this week, which is weird since last week was hopping. I'm taking Friday off since I still have way too many vacation days that I have to use before the end of the year. I plan to spend the day sleeping, doing my laundry, making glammastar's CDs, and reading the book for bookclub on Monday.

To kill some time, how about some TV reviews? I watch way, way, way too much TV nowdays. I may need to get a second job again just to pull me away from the idiot box.

Surface
I wasn't going to watch this show after NBC's stupid promotional blitz that just made it seem cheesy. But, I was home and there wasn't anything else on, so I left it on. It was okay. Didn't really grab me at all. Don't really care about the characters, don't really care about the sea monster/alien. I might watch it again if I happen to be doing nothing else, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. I'm just happy that it apparently knocked Fear Factor off the air. D

Las Vegas
New set, new cast member, same idea. I expected to hate Lara Flynn Boyle and was surprised that I didn't. I didn't think she was the bees knees or anything, but she was better than I thought she would be. Bitch does need a sammich tho'. Nessa is gone. Delinda and Mary left the casino, but are still on the show. I'm not really sure what their roles will be then. It's not like the show doesn't have enough useless eye candy already. I still love Sam! Unfortunately, I figured out that the robbers were using the other casinos as practice about 2 seconds after the show started. Otherwise it was a pretty good episode. B

Medium
I must have missed the season finale, because I was really lost. Wasn't it on last week? Why didn't I watch it?? *confused* The episode wasn't really anything special. Same old, same old. I really only watch this show because I need something to watch between Vegas and CJ. C

My Name is Earl
LOVED this show! I know. It's on when House is on, so most of you guys won't watch it. That's fine. I adore Jason Lee though, and it was really funny. I'm sure it'll make it through the season. A

The Office
I was really entertained by this episode. The way Pam was acting as the drunk girl?? "WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Yeah. That's totally me. Still not as funny as the British version, but worth watching. A-

Law & Order: SVU
Meh. Story was so-so. Olivia's hair? Not so much. WHERE THE FUCK WAS MUNCH?!?!? I like it when Fin & Olivia team up though. C

I do watch things that aren't on NBC. Really. Like VH1!

Breaking Bonaduce
I totally thought this was the stupidest idea when it was announced, and now I'm completely obsessed about this show. I've watched the first episode 4 times and the second one twice already. Something about watching Danny spiral down a black hole has me completely engrossed. A

My Fair Brady
I was really excited for this show, since Chris & Adrienne were the best part of Surreal Life 4. (I can't wait to see C.C. DeVille on Surreal Life 6! That's going to be fab!!) It's an okay show. I don't like the way it's formatted at all. They recap what's happened so far during the show after every single commercial break. Like we weren't just watching it two minutes ago! Still, it's entertaining. I'll keep watching. B


That's about it for the reviews. Jesse will be back on Law & Order tonight, which makes me extremely happy! Is it Sunday night yet??? I need new CJ!!
